The Alchemist book review |Paulo Coelho| No spoilers

Image
The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho- Book review The Alchemist is a fascinating and motivational book written by Paulo Coelho. The style of writing is explicit and the words are impeccable. The book is however short having only 167 pages. I personally read it after my friend's recommendation, and I feel reading this is like waking up early in the morning while everyone is asleep. The story is based on finding your ikigai – a Japanese word for destiny. The author says that the journey to your destiny is as important as the destination itself. Which I feel is very meaningful. Each action has a reason behind it and nothing goes useless. The story plot  revolves  around Santiago, a shepherd who gets recurring dreams about finding a treasure in the Pyramids of Egypt. He meets with a wise king who gifts him with magic stones and says to follow his dream. He meets a beautiful girl who turns out to be the love of his life during his travels. His encounter with an Alchemist on his journey ...

How to survive a zombie apocalypse?

Image
“ How to survive a zombie apocalypse?”. Yes,   you heard me right. It’s' a zombie a pocalypse survival guide. it’s unlikely to happen, but it’s a fun way to picture all the different skills we’d need to survive one. However, it  is not an entirely improbable situation, it can happen. You all know about human interferences with Nature which has led to the evolution of microbes that can potentially exterminate the human species. For instance, we can take the coronavirus which is causing a global pandemic and crisis all over the world.  What if one day a super-bug alters your DNA and as a result, a whole new terrifying species of human beings come to dominate the world?  Do you know that already there are a variety of organisms that   practice mind-control on their host   for reproduction and propagation? Don’t believe me? Google- Cordyceps Unilateralis, T. gondii, or Rabies and you would know that mind-control a...

They both die at the end, Adam Silvera: Book review(No spoilers) What would you do if this is your last day on earth? Many of us have dreamt about how our lives should be in the future, rather than living the present. "They both die at the end" is a bold, lovely, heart-wrenching novel that is beautifully contemplative. Adam Silvera emphasizes the point "there's no life without death, no love without loss", which I feel is very thoughtful. This story is a beautifully written YA novel that embraces a haunting story of loss, hope, and redeeming power of friendship.  Story plot:  Mateo Torez is an 18-year-old boy. His mother died during childbirth and his dad is in a coma. He is a young and thoughtful person who has lived a safe game his whole life. He receives a call one midnight from the Death cast( Death cast is an organization  in charge of calling people and informing them that they're going to die sometime in the next 24 hours ), this day is going to be hi...

The Da Vinci Code review| Book Review | Without spoilers

Image
The Da Vinci code book review: (by Dan Brown) Hey y'all, hope you all are doing fine! This blog is about my thoughts on the book "The Da Vinci Code", (by Dan Brown) without any spoilers. This review is solely based on my personal perspective.  The novel "the Da Vinci Code" is a crime thriller/historical book. It was very absorbing, riveting and hands down the most gripping book I've ever read. The more I read, the more I wanted to read, It is a fast-paced novel with an unusually high IQ. Dan Brown is one of the most passionate writers known to me. All descriptions of artwork, architecture, and secret rituals in this novel are accurate. The story plot: It revolves around a Harvard professor, Robert Langdon, who is the protagonist of this book, and an ingenious cryptologist Sophie Nevue. Robert Langdon receives an urgent late-night call. The curator of the Louvre has been brutally murdered in his own museum in a bizarre way. With this at the account, Robert L...
